A while ago Microsoft announced that they are going to end support for their old browser, Internet Explorer (IE). This is a big issue as a lot of systems still use some of the functionalities in Internet Explorer. We have enabled Microsoft Edge to utilize these functionalities so we can continue using the systems that need Internet Explorer. This extended functionality utilizes a list of sites that need Internet Explorer. There are a few steps we need to make to be sure that Edge is using the published site list.

1). Open Microsoft Edge and make sure that you are signed in with you Availa email. There should be an icon at the top

2). After clicking the icon, you should get a dialog box pop up that looks like either of the two screenshots below. Here you can either see that you are already logged in (left screenshot) or that you need to sign in (Right Screenshot).  You can click the “Sign in to Sync data” button. There should be a login box pop up and you can log in with you Availa email.

4). After hitting the "Force Update" button, you should be ready to start using Edge to access sites that need Internet Explorer functionality. If there are any sites that need Internet explorer and are not on the list, you can send an email to support@availa.bank to submit a ticket. Just make sure that you include the URL of the site.
